First of many University of Arkansas solar power plants open for Earth Day

The University of Arkansas celebrated Earth Day this year with a public tour of its first solar power plant built by Scenic Hill Solar. This first installation will produce 933,000 kilowatt-hours each year, part of the larger statewide system which will in total produce 2.5 billion kilowatt-hours over the next 25 years.
